Ferrero Rocher Dates

A decadent, chocolate-covered date stuffed with creamy hazelnut butter and topped with chopped hazelnuts, tasting just like a Ferrero Rocher.

Ingredients

• 10 Medjool dates
• 3 tbsp hazelnut butter
• 2 1/2 oz dark chocolate, 70%
• 1/4 cup hazelnuts, chopped
• 1/2 tsp coconut oil
• 1 pinch sea salt

Method

1. Slit each date, remove the pit, and press about a teaspoon of hazelnut butter into the pocket.
2. Pinch each date closed and freeze for 20 minutes.
3. Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil, dip each date, and place it on a fork or lined tray.
4. Press the chopped hazelnuts and a pinch of salt onto the dates while the chocolate is still wet.
5. Allow the chocolate to set before serving.
